Capture One Session21035

We Master Students of Product Design at the ECAL got the chance to
design objects for the Apartment 50 in the Cité Radieuse, Marseille,
France. The task was to create objects to fit an everyday usage in
the environment as Le Corbusier had planned it.

My object is a desk lamp which lights up the work space. By rotating,
the light source will be moved above the bed to use it as a night lamp.
A similar just bigger version is positioned in the dining space. With
half a turn, it is moved from above the dining table to the living room.
The idea is to mimic the natural movements of the inhabitants with the
light. The individual cut in the wooden base gives a restriction in which
angles the lamp can be rotated.
